Joy's Solution
Joy’s created a simple but effective installation for the 2008 Community conference. An ultra-widescreen measuring 14m x 5m was constructed and vivid projection was contrived by two Christie HD12K projectors. These were edge blended to ensure a superb quality finish and dynamic screen control was managed with the advanced processing power of a Spyder system.
Stunning graphics were provided with a combination of Apple Keynote and existing backgrounds. These were produced by the Joy’s creative team who also created a spectacular opening AV to celebrate the Union’s achievements over the last 2 years. A second AV was composed from footage captured during the two day event, this was edited on site and used to close the conference.
An impressive stage area was constructed and split over two levels to accommodate the 15 person executive panel. Bespoke tribune tables with monitors and a stylish presentation lectern were positioned onstage. A ramp was manufactured to allow wheelchair access to the lower stage.
Community logos were displayed with projected gobos on two 4m wide screens to achieve an exciting visual impact. A diverse range of static and dynamic lighting was used and a full range, multi channel sound system ensured maximum audio quality. Two cameras recorded the action during the course of the event, with live footage relayed to the screen through Spyder.
